just more graduation pictures!

Friday night, Kristen graduated from 8th Grade. It was a great evening. I took many pictures of her and friends, they had the ceremony, and then we all went to the Plex in Wichita Falls for a party. Everyone had a wonderful time. We are so thankful to be out of 8th grade(kind of a tough year for Kristen), but mom and dad are kind of scared to let her go to high school. She has become a great young lady. Kristen is very anxious to get started with volleyball and basketball at the high school level. I am not so sure about the academic part, but maybe that will come. I hope Henrietta High School is ready for her!

Softball is in full swing at the Duncan household---along with volleyball(still). Addie's team started last week.

Easter Sunday we had Chris's parents, Chris's sister and her family, my mom, Aunt Martha, Michael and his family, and Steve, Jamie, and Jessie Wilkinson over for lunch. We had a wonderful time. I was able to take a picture of all of my nephews and one neice for the very first time. It was great!

Just a few more skiing pictures!

Well, it has been awhile since I have posted something, so, Lori, here goes! We had a great ski trip during spring break. 3 other fire fighters and their families went with us. We all stayed in a house. There were 17 of us---1 teenager-Kristen-and 7 in the 3rd grade or below. It was wild to say the least. 5 out of the 7 young kiddos were boys. I am so not used to boys. My girls are pretty quiet. I guess God did that for a reason. Enjoy the pictures.

Volleyball

The last 2 weekends, we have been watching Kristen play volleyball. We were in Arlington the 14-15, and we were in Abilene this past weekend. Kristen's team is doing great! More importantly, Kristen is doing outstanding. I am so proud of her! She is #21.

Well my girls did great last weekend at the Clay County Youth Fair. Addie entered photos, jewelry, and peanut brittle. She received a 1st place with the jewelry and 2nd place with the others. Kristen entered photos and peanut brittle. She received a blue ribbon for one of her photos, and it will be going on to the state level. With her peanut brittle, she got Reserved Grand Champion in Foods. I was so proud of both girls. They did great! Thanks to Aunt Martha for teaching them how to make the peanut brittle!

The End!

This week was the last week of basketball in the Duncan household. Addie's last game was Friday night. We all enjoy watching those games. Kelley is Addie's coach, and she does a wonderful job. We could not ask for a better coach. Kelley is patient and knows what to teach the girls. Kelley, you are great and we would not trade you for anything. Thanks and the Duncan's love you dearly.
Kristen played her last Jr. High basketball game on Saturday. It was very hard for me. I just think of her starting soccer when she was 4, and now she only has 4 years of sports left. It is going by way to quickly. I know these last 4 years are going to go by even quicker. She is a great kid, and just thinking about her leaving makes me tear up!
Kristen and Addie both are 12!

Such is life!

Still trying....

I am home for my second straight day because of weather, so I decided I should do some updating. It is nice to be home, but we don't have much to do. If I had a project of some sort going on I would be busy. I am enjoying looking at all the other blogs, and I will update when I feel like I have something you might want to know. For now, I am still learning and finding the time. Have a great rest of the week.

Starting my blog!

Well I have decided to join the wide world of blogging. I have read many blogs and love keeping up with them, so I decide to start my own. I am excited to get my profile all decorated up. Maybe it will be better soon!
